SPECKLED SUSSEX
 
Speckled Sussex is a British breed of dual purpose bird. They are excellent egg layers, producing approximately 250 large size tinted or light brown eggs per year. They are great foragers and are very economical eaters.  
 
Speckled Sussex is very friendly, easy to handle and because of their curious nature they tend to follow you around the yard. Especially during feeding times! They are very fat bodied birds which makes them an ideal choice for raising meat birds.
